Internet Service

The Affordable Connectivity Program has replaced the FCC Emergency Broadband Benefit to provide households with affordable broadband. Internet Essentials from Comcast is a low-cost, high-speed internet for households that are already receiving programs like the National School Lunch Program, housing assistance, Medicaid, SNAP, SSI, and Federal Pell Grant.

For Parents:

Distance Learning Survival Guide with Khan Academy Office of Educational Technology’s Parent and Family Digital Learning Guide Parents Reaching Out is also providing a variety of online workshops for parents. Please review their website to sign up to attend these sessions. The UNM Center for Development and Disability Partners for Employment & Parents Reaching Out have released a School-to-Work Transition Guide. This guide is designed for parents, but can also be useful for providers/professionals and youth. The Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services released A Transition Guide to Postsecondary Education and Employment for Students and Youth with Disabilities in hopes to assist students with disabilities and their families to better understand how local and state agencies work together to facilitate improved outcomes for students and youth with disabilities.
